以本·卫肖版《裘力斯·恺撒》试水浸没式体验的塔桥剧院艺术总监尼古拉斯·希特纳，再次为《仲夏夜之梦》带来了极具感染力的狂欢体验：演员像表演杂技一般攀附在秋千上，场中观众在击打中传递着硕大的气球，最终的狂欢之舞将塔桥剧院变成一个充满无限感官可能性的梦幻迪厅。 

此版复排由大热剧集《权力的游戏》系列中出演布蕾妮的格温多兰·克里斯蒂，携手NT Live喜剧小生奥利弗·克里斯（《一仆二主》《第十二夜》《青年卡尔》）领衔主演；角色性别的转变挑战了二元对立的两性观念，绝妙的舞台设计充满了梦幻感，完全点燃了莎剧中潜藏的当代神经，被媒体盛赞为“今夏最棒的派对”。 

这部莎士比亚最受欢迎的浪漫喜剧，讲述了颠鸾倒凤的爱情：不愿从父命结婚的赫米娅与情人拉山德逃进了森林，被赫米娅拒绝的狄米特律斯与赫米娅的好友、爱着狄米特律斯的海伦娜也跟着进了森林。不料森林中的仙王仙后闹别扭，在顽皮的小精灵的魔汁的戏弄下，四人爱情颠倒、好友反目成情敌，连仙后（此版中是仙王）也爱上了一头由纺织工装扮的驴头人。 

A feuding fairy King and Queen of the forest cross paths with four runaway lovers and a troupe of actors trying to rehearse a play. As their dispute grows, the magical royal couple meddle with mortal lives leading to love triangles, mistaken identities and transformations… with hilarious, but dark consequences. 

Shakespeare’s most famous romantic comedy was filmed live at the Bridge Theatre in London.. Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones), Oliver Chris (Green Wing, NT Live: Young Marx), David Moorst (NT Live: Allelujah!) and Hammed Animashaun (The Barber Shop Chronicles) lead the cast as Titania, Oberon, Puck and Bottom. 

This production re-unites the team responsible for last year’s smash hit Julius Caesar including Tony and Olivier award winning director Nicholas Hytner (The History Boys, One Man Two Guvnors). The Bridge Theatre once again becomes a forest – a dream world of flying fairies, contagious fogs and moonlight revels, surrounded by a roving audience following the action on foot.
